The first Joint Alumni Seminar on Family Business with New York University and the University of Southern California was held on August 9, 2019. The seminar attracted more than 100 alumni of the three universities.

The seminar began with a presentation our Center Director, Prof. Roger KING, also an alumnus of the School. The  talk was followed by a panel discussion with next-generation family business leaders from the three universities – Mr Charles LAW, Managing Director of Culture Technology Group (HKUST); Mr Alick KOO, Managing Director of UCP International (NYU); and Mr William SHUM, Founder and CEO of Memorigin Watch Company (USC). The panelists shared their unique ways of embracing disruptions while preserving their families’ wealth, harmony, value and legacy.
