Program Highlights
- A specific focus on succession issues of ethnic Chinese family businesses: unfolding secrets of how they retain control beyond three generations and how they differ from other ethnic groups
- A case-based program led by our faculty with years of practical experience and academic excellence, and guest speakers from leading family businesses such as Lee Kum Kee, Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) and Esquel Group
- Introduce the roles of family governance, family offices, trusts and foundations in preserving family wealth, harmony and legacy
- A specialized lecture in arts and wine investment, with a guided tour in an auction preview and a wine-pairing dinner tailored by a wine specialist from a Jewish family business
- Pay a special visit to the private residence of a prominent shipping family business; listen to their third generation leader sharing their family history, legacy and challenges
