Family offices are a critical component of the financial market and economic growth in Hong Kong. Our Center Director Prof. Winnie Qian PENG was invited as one of the panel speakers for an engaging themed discussion and experience sharing at the Roundtable: Exploring the High Quality Development of Family Offices in Hong Kong (圓桌論壇: 探求香港家族辦公室的高質量發展), organized by the Chinese Financial Association of Hong Kong (HCFA) on August 17.

Alongside other speakers from various sectors, including Mr. Jason Fong, Global Head of Family Office at InvestHK, Mr. Dong Chen, Vice Chairman of HCFA, President & CEO at Right Time Asset Management, and Ms. Karina Wong, Tax Partner at EY Private, the discussion explored different perspectives on the development of family offices in Hong Kong, from policy makers to the industry and academia, with over 100 participants.
