Prof. Roger King, Founding Director of the Center, was invited to talk on the session "Creating a lasting family legacy" at the UBS Philanthropy Forum Asia 2016. The talk discussed how new generations of philanthropists are challenging the boundaries and aspirations of philanthropy, questioning traditional approaches and adopting new modi operandi, while striking balance with profound values and family traditions which form the foundation of a philanthropic legacy. Prof. King shared insights on how the obstacles could be identified and addressed when trying to reconcile long-standing traditions while allowing space for new approaches and fresh outlooks.
